Sandra Pickering

Sandra is a qualified Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives working within the Probate Department. She qualified as a Fellow in 1992 and has over 25 years’ experience working in the areas of administration of estates, drafting wills and lasting powers of attorney and some aspects of trust work.

She has a sympathetic approach and when dealing with probate cases she sees part of her role as helping clients through difficult times.

Sandra often deals with complex matters, including taxable estates, estates comprising foreign assets and the drafting of wills setting up trusts for vulnerable beneficiaries.

 

Education

 

Sandra started her training at Portsmouth Polytechnic in 1978 before moving on to attend the Business Studies Department at Bournemouth and Poole College of Further Education between 1981 and 1982. She then we on to complete her Legal Executive qualifications while working full-time, via distance learning.

 

Career

 

Sandra started her legal career with Collins Woods & Vaughan Jones, which merged to become Morgan Cole. She qualified as a Legal Executive in 1992.

She joined us in 2001 and will celebrate 20 years with the firm in July 2021.
