We were delighted to host our annual Charity Croquet Event on Friday, 27 June, in support of the wonderful work of Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice – and what a fantastic day it was, raising over £1800!
Held at the welcoming grounds of Neath Cricket Club, the event brought together teams, colleagues, clients, and friends for an afternoon of friendly competition, laughter, and generosity – all in aid of a truly important cause. The sun shone (mostly!), the croquet was competitive, and the atmosphere was full of good spirits.
Congratulations to the winning team from Thomas Carroll, who claimed this year’s top spot with skill and determination. A huge well done to all the teams who took part – your enthusiasm and good humour made the event one to remember.
We’d also like to express a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the event: those who played, donated, cheered from the sidelines, or simply helped to make the day run smoothly. Your generosity and team spirit meant the world, and helped raise much-needed funds for Tŷ Hafan, which provides care and comfort to children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
Tŷ Hafan offers a lifeline to families facing the most difficult of circumstances. Based in South Wales, the hospice provides specialist palliative care for children, as well as vital emotional and practical support for parents, siblings, and carers. Whether it’s short respite breaks, end-of-life care, or bereavement services, Tŷ Hafan is there every step of the way, helping families create precious memories and find moments of joy in the toughest of times.
Importantly, Tŷ Hafan relies heavily on charitable donations to continue its essential work. Events like ours play a small but meaningful part in ensuring the hospice can keep its doors open to those in need. We’re proud to support such a vital cause and are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped us do so.
A special thank you to Cresci’s Ice Cream for making a surprise appearance to keep energy levels up mid-tournament – your delicious treats were the perfect boost!
And, of course, our sincere thanks to Neath Cricket Club for hosting us once again – we couldn’t do it without your continued support.
