Hutchinson Thomas is celebrating achieving its Lexcel accreditation for the 18th year in a row. In 2003 the firm became the first in Wales ever to achieve this accreditation, which recognises excellence in legal practice management and client care. It has successfully maintained these high standards ever since.
Lexcel is the Law Society’s legal practice quality mark. It not only helps firms to achieve excellence but also gives potential clients the confidence that they are in the best possible hands.
Lexcel accreditation looks at seven different areas: structure and strategy, financial management, information management, people management, risk management, client care, file and case management.
Working to achieve Lexcel accreditation helps firms establish consistent levels of service, reduce the number of client complaints and increase overall client satisfaction levels.
It also helps them increase profitability and efficiency through the use of standardised processes throughout the practice.
Robert Williams, senior partner, Hutchinson Thomas, said:
“We have held Lexcel accreditation since 2003 and are proud to have achieved it again this year. It’s important to us because it ensures we look closely at multiple aspects of our business, making sure everything is running efficiently and that clients receive the best possible service and support. It gives our clients confidence in us, and it gives us confidence that we are truly performing as well as we possibly can on all levels.”
